Be anxious for nothing

The above song is very inspiring and encouraging. God wants us to cast all our cares upon Him. 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. There are times, we really do not know what to do, but the very encouraging thing is we can trust Him and cast all our cares upon Him - the reason is He cares for us!

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

3Ds - Declutter, Detox & Debug

Just learnt these 3 words in a seminar - De-clutter, De-tox, De-bug In order to hear God clearly, I need to constantly apply these 3Ds in my life:- 1) De-clutter Most of the times I have a hard time to discard things and I tend to keep them and then forgot about them. Things get piled out and it does affect my search for important things. Likewise, I also have many ungodly thoughts that can clutter my thought and keep me from hearing God. ASK, SEEK & KNOCK

Below is a sharing by a christian friend:- ASK: I got up early one morning & rushed right into the day. I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me and heavier came each task;'Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He said,"But you didn't ask." I wanted to see joy & beauty but the day toiled on, gray & bleak; I wondered why God didn't show me. He said,"But you didn't seek." I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock. God gently & lovingly chided "My child, you didn't knock," I woke up this morning and paused before entering the day. I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray. My friend's experience reminded me of a quote by Martin Luther : “I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.”
