Dear Lord,
Our heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Thank you for actively searching and examining our heart and mind and renewing them by the washing of the water in your word. Help us to understand your word in Titus 3:5 that it is not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to your mercy
you saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy
Spirit. We pray as in James 4:7 that we will actively choose to submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from us. May your Spirit constantly remind us as in James 4:8 to draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Amen.
