Just learnt these 3 words in a seminar - De-clutter, De-tox, De-bug In order to hear God clearly, I need to constantly apply these 3Ds in my life:- 1) De-clutter Most of the times I have a hard time to discard things and I tend to keep them and then forgot about them.  Things get piled out and it does affect my search for important things.  Likewise, I also have many ungodly thoughts that can clutter my thought and keep me from hearing God.  It takes times to de-clutter and I need God to show me what it is that is hidden, which He desires for me to discard, so that there is a room to hear His voice. 2)  De-tox Toxic attitudes & behaviors that I allow into my life affects my hearing and has impact on my walk with God.  There are many lies that the enemy has planted in my thought life and this can impact my relationship with God. I need to discern and identif...

Dear bro and sis in Christ, friends and relatives, Firstly, with a grateful heart I would like to thank God for His faithfulness. Secondly, I want to thank Him for His grace and mercy . He had softened my mother-in-law's stony heart that she was willing to believe and trust the Lord as her personal Savior.  My mother-in-law worshipped many idols and forbid my husband from baptizing into the name of Jesus.  She was unhappy with me because all my children accepted Christ as their personal savior.  Our relationship was sour but one day I was convicted by the Holy Spirit and repented of my attitude towards her.                                 One day, mum-in-law was diagnosed with a terminal illness and she would not live long.  We were concerned over her salvation....

A sister's testimony: "Praise The Lord for allowing me to share this testimony. My youngest son Judd was diagnosed with mild to moderate autism a year after we moved here to Singapore. As a mother, the reality of my son's condition was a painful truth that I had to accept. Matthew 5:13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. David Wilkerson : Jesus made a definitive statement that we are to be the salt of the earth . Does your life create a thirst for Christ to those around you? Does it provoke a desire to be healed? Can people point to your life and see the full expression of who God is? When we are half-hearted towards God, or in compromise, those around us will not be able to taste and see that the Lord is good. Today God is reaching out His hand to every Christian who is living in sin and He wants to bring you into the victory of the cross. This message urges us that there is a window of opportunity open by God to be salt and light to a lost generation but we, you, must make the break. We are the plan of God for the world. Below is a sharing by a christian friend:- ASK: I got up early one morning & rushed right into the day. I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me and heavier came each task;'Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He said,"But you didn't ask." I wanted to see joy & beauty but the day toiled on, gray & bleak; I wondered why God didn't show me. He said,"But you didn't seek." I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock. God gently & lovingly chided "My child, you didn't knock," I woke up this morning and paused before entering the day. I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.  My friend's experience reminded me of a quote by Martin Luther :  “I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.”

1 John 4:20b. .. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. The above verse is a very good reminder.   We need to love not only in words but in deeds. Just visited a brother who was sick.  He could not come for the church meeting as his sickness has handicapped him.  But praise God, I saw the love of the brothers and sisters who take turn to care for him.  To fetch him to the meeting hall and also to read the bible with him.  By so doing, they have strengthened his faith. 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. Christians are commanded to love one another.   It is easy to love the loveable but hard to love those that are otherwise.   We cannot  love by our own effort.   Romans 5:5 because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.   When we experience or encounter God’s love and allow His love to permeate and saturate us, naturally this love will also flow out from us to others.   Love is one of the fruit of the Spirit.   It takes time and effort to grow this fruit.      Dear Lord, You are love.  Love is your essence.   We can love others because you first loved us.   Thank you that it is not by our self effort but by simply turning to you and abiding in you.   As we read your word, cleanse us with the washing of the water in your word and renew our mind.   Only your word can transform us from within.   We present our body as a living sacrifice...
