We all love to murmur, it is inborn. I love the story of the Israelites. When Moses led them out of Egypt, they became thirsty and started to murmur. When they finally passed by a watering stop only to discover the water was bitter to the taste and undrinkable. Their murmurings now turned to open, angry complaint. Sometimes we also murmur along our Christian path and when our path grew even tougher, our murmur turn into open and angry complaint.
I like Moses. Instead of murmuring along with the Israelites, he just cry out to the Lord. The Lord answered by showing him a piece of wood which, when he had thrown it into the water, made the waters of Marah sweet.
What a simple solution, ie. less murmuring but more prayer!! It is easier said than none but I am on my path to learn this lesson and God bless all of you!!
