Psalm 34:1-3
1. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
I made a mistake the other day but immediately I followed up with an email to the other party to rectify it. However, the following day, I realised the mistake was not rectified due to the way the things were processed. It was very disappointing. I was so pre-occupied with this for the whole day cos some cost is involved.
Later, I realised that even a small matter can rob us of the joy in God. Am I able to be like the psalmist to bless the Lord at all times ... I'm afraid I still can't. This small matter really exposed me.
Sometimes we magnify the problem more than God Himself. However, as I turn to him, I am no longer angry with the whole matter but praise God! Let Him be magnified!
