2 Timothy 2:4
"No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier."
Sometimes I fill my life with too many little things and soon to realise that I have no time for Christ. However, I discover that if I am willing to allow Christ to have the first place in my heart, then all these things will fit in neatly by His grace. I am always encouraged by this verse Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Reflection:
Am I available to God anytime? Can He mess up my plans without me becoming resentful? Am I willing to give up the right to control my schedule and allowing God to interrupt it whenever He needs to? Do I know Him as the "Elohim", that there is nothing going on in my life that God is not aware of?
He is sovereign over all things . I must learn to see interruptions as divine appointments for ministry and are happy at every opportunity given by Him for me to practice serving.

Hi Iris, this is something quite a no. of people struggle with. Time is not enough - it seems. Sometimes the 'godly' things we do also rob us of our time with Jesus. We must, in our own way, make time for Him alone.
