God is merciful

Do you know that God is a merciful God? The Bible tells me that He is merciful. Declare His word for his mercy endureth forever. When King David sinned greatly before God, he still chose to fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great than to fall into the hand of man. (2 Samuel 2:14). Although God punishes, he still show mercy when His people repented before Him.

Exodus 34:6
The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

Deuteronomy 4:31
For the Lord thy God is a merciful God.

2 Samuel 24:14
Let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great.

1 Chronicles 16:34; Psalm 106:1, 107:1, 118:1, 136:1; Jeremiah 33:11
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever.

Psalm 25:8
Good and upright is the Lord.

Psalm 86:5
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Psalm 100:5
For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting.

Psalm 103:8
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Psalm 145:9
The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Jeremiah 3:12
I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Jeremiah 33:11
The LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Lamentations 3:33
;For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Joel 2:13
For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness.

Micah 7:18
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be God ... the Father of mercies.

James 5:11
the Lord is very compassionate and merciful

3Ds - Declutter, Detox & Debug

Just learnt these 3 words in a seminar - De-clutter, De-tox, De-bug In order to hear God clearly, I need to constantly apply these 3Ds in my life:- 1) De-clutter Most of the times I have a hard time to discard things and I tend to keep them and then forgot about them.  Things get piled out and it does affect my search for important things.  Likewise, I also have many ungodly thoughts that can clutter my thought and keep me from hearing God.  It takes times to de-clutter and I need God to show me what it is that is hidden, which He desires for me to discard, so that there is a room to hear His voice. 2)  De-tox Toxic attitudes & behaviors that I allow into my life affects my hearing and has impact on my walk with God.  There are many lies that the enemy has planted in my thought life and this can impact my relationship with God. I need to discern and identif...

Changed Basket

Someone shared a beautiful story with me today. Passing it on: Why do we read bible even if we can't understand or remember ???? An old Farmer lived on a farm in the mountains with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa woke up early sitting at the kitchen table reading the bible. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could. One day the grandson  asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the bible just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Bible  do?" The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water." The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river wit...
