Have you heard about God's wrath. Personally, I don't hear much about this topic. However, it seemed to methat this topic is very real in the Bible. The Bible talks about the wrath of God quite often.
This week I hear a message and understand that God's wrath is not part of His intrinsic nature but it is His response to sin in His Holiness. Our God is a holy God. He hates sin. In His righteousness he has to judge sin, the word of God says : "The soul that sinneth, it shall die" Ezekiah 18:20.
On the other hand, we always hear that God is love. He loves mankind. He hates the sin but not the sinner. In His love, he prepares a way for sinners to be saved ie. through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. He shed His blood for the remission of our sins so that whoever believes in Him will be saved.
Thus it is not a small matter to receive Jesus as our Savior because it really matters in eternity!
Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior is the way to escape from the wrath of God because the wrath of God has been poured on Jesus when he was crucified for us.
