Joshua 4:21 He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22 tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea[b] when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. 24 He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”
I have not been blogging for awhile. However, once again I was reminded to put down my experiences in writing. Each time as I set aside my fear, disappointment, discouragement and trust in His promises, I am in fact collecting a small memorial stone to remember this experience. When I am down or forgot about His faithfulness, I can once again take out these stones which I have collected in my blog to remember God's faithfulness. Though sometimes our journey on earth is a difficult one but God has allowed it for our good. As a master gardener, he is pruning us tenderly. He cuts and breaks our branches which hurt but growth comes.
Dear God, you know how best to prune us. We commit ourselves to your pruning. Give us the endurance, strength and patience to yeild to your pruning. In Jesus' name I pray.
