God is seeking for intercessors

In the book "Becoming a prayer warrior" By Elizabeth Alves, I began to see that God is seeking for people, intercessors to plead for His perfect will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Isa 43:26).

God is sovereign but He chose to work through people and not around them. No wonder, He says, "Truly I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matt 18:18. He has limited some of his activities on the earth and will respond only to the prayers of His children.

If we want things to happen, we must align ourselves with the purpose and power of God. I understand that the best way is to spend time in His Word, praying over it through faith. God's word reflect God's heart, mind and our prayer will then become God's own Word alive in our mouth. Praying God's Word brings results and answers because God Himself said that His Word will not return to Him empty without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it (Isa 55:11)

God is watching

I heard this true story during one of our home meeting. I find this story very touching and decided to put it in my blog as an encouragement to those who are faithfully taking care of their loved one. You are not alone, God is watching our every action. A sister in china shared that while her husband was in coma,she read some scriptures from the new testament to him daily and after each reading, she will pat her husband on his shoulder and say "amen" on his behalf. She did this faithfully for ten years. One day, while doing the regular reading, she suddenly heard a loud "Amen" and it came from none other but her husband. God has honoured our sister by showing mercy to her husband and while he was still in coma, his spirit is still very much alive. It is a good reminder to me not to belittle what we are doing for others. When we have a heart, God will show mercy to those whom we are praying and taking care.

Genesis 1:6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Genesis 1:7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
