Do not be disheartened. Though we are an old pot of clay or even a cracked pot, yet the excellency of the power of God worked in us. Although we are cracked, the light of Christ in us will shine through the cracks. Without the cracks, no one can see God's wonderful work in us. God works through our imperfections for His glory. So that when people look at us and see amazing things happening, they know it must be God at work because it certainly could not be us.
I always enjoy this verse, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7.)
Though we are so ordinary, so earthen, we have the excellent power of God in us. We live by this whole new way ie. trusting God always in our daily lives.
Isn't it amazing?
