God's mode of operation - He declares first and it came to pass

Isaiah 48 : 3 I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.

The above verse clearly showed the principle of God's method of operation. First he declares things, then He does them. It impressed me to learn to make a list of the things that I had been learning that were rightly mine according to the Word of God. By so doing, I was declaring the decree! God's word shall not return to him void, He will bring it to pass.

I started declaring this verse, "I am a new creature in Christ: old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Cor 5 : 17. By declaring His Word, I am agreeing with the Lord and refuse to believe in the lies of the enemies. I am taking my thoughts which are inconsistent to the Word of God to subject them to the Word and the truth will set me free and I can go on with the Lord.

We can overcome the enemy by the blood of Christ and we have the power over all our situations and struggles when we subject them to the presence of God.

God is watching

I heard this true story during one of our home meeting. I find this story very touching and decided to put it in my blog as an encouragement to those who are faithfully taking care of their loved one. You are not alone, God is watching our every action. A sister in china shared that while her husband was in coma,she read some scriptures from the new testament to him daily and after each reading, she will pat her husband on his shoulder and say "amen" on his behalf. She did this faithfully for ten years. One day, while doing the regular reading, she suddenly heard a loud "Amen" and it came from none other but her husband. God has honoured our sister by showing mercy to her husband and while he was still in coma, his spirit is still very much alive. It is a good reminder to me not to belittle what we are doing for others. When we have a heart, God will show mercy to those whom we are praying and taking care.
