What I do during my recess time?

Hi, I am Joseph, a secondary school student. Recess is a time where I buy my favorite foods to fill my hunger and also a time for me to catch up with my friends. I usually eat together with my friends and at the same time chit chat while eating. My school canteen sells many foods. My favorite food is wanton noodles and also fried spicy hot dogs and fried chicken from the Malay Store. Most of the time, I drink Milo (costs about seventy cents) and sometimes bottled drinks (about a dollar). Sometimes I spend about $3 - $5 per day.

My school canteen sells many nice & delicious foods. Sometimes we have free milo from external vendor engaged by our school. I think is part of the vendor's promotional effort.

I gave my school canteen a very good rating!!

3Ds - Declutter, Detox & Debug

Just learnt these 3 words in a seminar - De-clutter, De-tox, De-bug In order to hear God clearly, I need to constantly apply these 3Ds in my life:- 1) De-clutter Most of the times I have a hard time to discard things and I tend to keep them and then forgot about them.  Things get piled out and it does affect my search for important things.  Likewise, I also have many ungodly thoughts that can clutter my thought and keep me from hearing God.  It takes times to de-clutter and I need God to show me what it is that is hidden, which He desires for me to discard, so that there is a room to hear His voice. 2)  De-tox Toxic attitudes & behaviors that I allow into my life affects my hearing and has impact on my walk with God.  There are many lies that the enemy has planted in my thought life and this can impact my relationship with God. I need to discern and identif...

ASK, SEEK & KNOCK

Below is a sharing by a christian friend:- ASK: I got up early one morning & rushed right into the day. I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray. Problems just tumbled about me and heavier came each task;'Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He said,"But you didn't ask." I wanted to see joy & beauty but the day toiled on, gray & bleak; I wondered why God didn't show me. He said,"But you didn't seek." I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock. God gently & lovingly chided "My child, you didn't knock," I woke up this morning and paused before entering the day. I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.  My friend's experience reminded me of a quote by Martin Luther :  “I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.”
